Summary
The Al Batinah water transmission network incorporates extensive pipeline protection and reinforcement works. The project scope includes protective measures at wadi crossings against erosion and seasonal flooding, together with route stabilisation and identification works. These measures include reinforced concrete protection, gabion works, stone reinforcement and route marker installations to support pipeline protection, identification and safety.
